Samsung Galaxy Fold, S10 and 5G Launched : Everything You Need to Know

Samsung Galaxy Fold, S10 and 5G Launched : Everything  You Need to Know

Samsung Galaxy S10 series was unveiled at the Unpacked event in San Francisco, and alongside the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S10, and the Samsung Galaxy S10+, the company also launched the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G variant. Apart from the upgraded 5G chip, the phone incorporates a larger display, is heavier than the other three variants, comes with a quad camera setup, and packs a big 4,500mAh battery. From price, availability, carrier partners, to its hardware differences - we've listed all the important things you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

Samsung also unveiled the latest version of its flagship smartphone line, the Galaxy S10, releasing three models that cost between £669 and £1,099.
The phones - the cheaper S10E, the S10 and the S10+, feature a fingerprint scanner embedded within the touchscreen and three rear cameras that allow for wider-angle photos.
The smartphone-maker also teased its largest phone yet, the S10 5G, which offers 6.7 inch display and promises to be the future of smartphone connectivity. The phone will be available later this year, when 5G networks, that offer faster mobile data connections, come online.
The company is hoping 5G support will give it a leg up over Apple, which is not expected to unveil a 5G phone until next year.  All these devices are capable of wirelessly charging other Samsung phones and accessories.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will reportedly launch with Verizon first
  • It will be available sometime in Q2 2019
  • The phone will be more expensive than the Galaxy S10+ variant

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G price, availability

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G's price was not unveiled at the event, but Drew Blackard, Samsung senior director of product marketing, told CNET that the phone may be a $100 more than the most premium Samsung Galaxy S10+, but didn't go into more detail. For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ price starts from $999.99 (roughly Rs. 71,000).

Mystery around the price is understandable given that the phone isn't expected to launch until later this year with no specific timeline announced by Samsung. The company is reported to partner with Verizon first to launch the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G in Q2 2019. Later in the same quarter, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile will also start selling it, the report stated.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G processor, 5G modem

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will improve upon network speeds thanks to the Qualcomm X50 5G modem integrated alongside the chipmaker's Snapdragon 855 processor. At the event, the company said that the 5G variant is capable of downloading a full TV show season in minutes, play graphic-heavy cloud games with virtually no lag, and support real-time 4K video calls as well. It is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage - which is not expandable via a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G sports a larger display

The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G comes with a large display than the other three, and it is seen sporting a 6.7-inchQuad-HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED display with a 505ppi pixel density and 19:9 aspect ratio. To, recall, the second closest premium variant, the Samsung Galaxy S10+, sports a 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, retaining the same 19:9 aspect ratio but having a lower pixel density of 438ppi.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G comes with a quad camera setup

The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is also different, and it sports an additional 3D depth sensor with an hQVGA resolution. The other three sensors are identical to what's integrated on the Samsung Galaxy S10+. The setup consists of a 12-megapixel 77-degree lens wide-angle camera coupled with 2PD autofocus, a variable aperture ranging from f/1.5 to f/2.4, and OIS; a 12-megapixel 45-degree lens telephoto (0.5x and 2x optical zoom) camera with autofocus, an f/2.4 aperture, and OIS; apart from a 16-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide lens camera with fixed focus and an f/2.2 aperture. The setup also provides up to 10x digital zoom.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G battery, other specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S10 packs a large 4,500mAh battery compared to the Samsung Galaxy S10+ which sports a 4,100mAh battery. This also makes the phone heavier and thicker than the rest, with dimensions measuring at 162.6x77.1x7.94mm and the smartphone weighing at 198 grams. The phone bears an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and comes with connectivity options like 5G (Sub-6GHz / mmWave 28GHz, 39GHz), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The 10 Most Cancer Causing Foods Try to Never Eat - ASPARADISE

The 10 Most Cancer Causing Foods Try to Never Eat

Every day there’s a new warning about another food causing cancer—and often, that advice turns out to be bunk. We talked to oncologists to learn which foods may truly put us at risk.

 Processed Meats

Most processed meat products, including lunch meats, bacon, sausage, and hot dogs, contain chemical preservatives that make them appear fresh and appealing, but that can also cause cancer. Both sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate have been linked to significantly increase the risk of colon and other forms of cancer, so be sure to choose only uncured meat products made without nitrates, and preferably from grass-fed sources.

 Refined sugars

The same goes for refined sugars, which tend to rapidly spike insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells. Fructose-rich sweeteners like high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) are particularly offensive, as cancer cells have been shown to quickly and easily metabolize them in order to proliferate. And since cookies, cakes, pies, sodas, juices, sauces, cereals, and many other popular, mostly processed, food items are loaded with HFCS and other refined sugars, this helps explain why cancer rates are on the rise these days.

Microwave popcorn

Sure it’s easy to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave when you want a quick and tasty snack, but is it really worth risking yourself for liver, testicular and pancreatic cancer? The microwave popcorn bags you have in your cabinet are lined with carcinogenic chemicals AND so is a chemical in the popcorn itself, which creates the artificial butter flavor. If you can’t give up your favorite movie-time snack, it’s time to switch to the old-fashioned stove top or a kernel popping machine like you see at movie theaters.

Non-organic produce

You’re not alone in thinking ALL fruits and vegetables are good for you, but there are actually many dangerous pesticides sprayed on non-organic fruits that are linked to cancer. One example is Altrazine, a weed-killer used at many U.S. farms, but banned in Europe for causing severe problems in humans, such as infertility. Another problem with non-organic farmed produce is the use of toxic fertilizers and hormones used to make fruits and veggies bigger. In case you were wondering, the worst offenders are apples, followed by oranges, strawberries and grapes. ALWAYS wash fruits and veggies to be safe, but know that this doesn’t remove all pesticides.

Potato chips

They may be cheap, easy and delicious, but these crispy, addicting snacks can also be deadly. These fatty foods don’t only cause weight gain because of their high trans-fat content, they also have excessive sodium levels, which cause high blood pressure and artificial flavors, preservatives and colors. Another risk is the presence of acrymalide, a known carcinogen found in cigarettes. Try not to feed these quick snacks to yourself or your kids and choose pretzels, air-popped popcorn or baked apple chips instead.

Hydrogenated oils

Hydrogenated oils are vegetable oils, which cannot be naturally extracted like olive oil, soy or canola oil, they must be chemically removed. They are commonly used in many foods in your pantry to preserve and keep their shelf life, yet they are also linked to cancer, birth defects, heart disease and many other fatalities. NEVER cook with hydrogenated oils and check your labels for healthy oils like olive, soy and canola instead.

Farmed salmon

Farmed salmon is another high-risk cancer food, according to Dr. David Carpenter, Director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at the University of Albany. According to his assessment, farmed salmon not only lacks vitamin D, but it is often contaminated with carcinogenic chemicals, PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), flame retardants, pesticides, and antibiotics.

Diet’ foods, beverages

Even worse than conventional sugar-sweetened soda pop, though, is “diet” soda pop and various other diet beverages and foods. A recent scientific review issued by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) of more than 20 separate research studies found that aspartame, one of the most common artificial sweeteners, causes a range of illnesses including birth defects and cancer. Sucralose (Splenda), saccharin and various other artificial sweeteners have also been linked to causing cancer.

Soft drinks

Soft drinks, soda, pop… no matter what you call it, it’s still detrimental to your health! Soda is packed full of calories, sugar and artificial ingredients, and has ZERO nutritional benefit. One can of soda contains about ten packets of sugar and most popular diet and sugared sodas are nearly as corrosive to dental enamel as battery acid. Think the occasional soda won’t hurt? Studies have shown that only drinking two sodas per week nearly doubles the risk of pancreatic cancer. There are plenty of alternatives out there, so next time you’re craving something sweet, think about what you’re putting into your body. Your health is an investment, never forget that!

 Artificial sweeteners

While many people choose artificial sweeteners to lose weight, they are actually doing way worse damage to the body. People who consume artificial sweeteners in soda, coffee or diet-candy actually end up gaining weight and it does nothing to help those with diabetes. Aspartame found in artificial sweeteners has been known to cause convulsions, cataracts and gastro paresis. Also, artificial sweeteners do nothing to inhibit the body’s ability to monitor its daily calorie consumption, making us crave sweets even more. Another deadly toxin called DKP forms in the body from these fake sweets that produces cancer-causing chemicals, especially brain tumors. To sum it up, there is pretty much NEVER a good reason to ingest artificial sweeteners.

Earn Money From Online – 6 Reputable Websites

Earn Money From Online –  6 Reputable  Websites

There are many easy and legal ways to earn a few bucks on the internet. Here are five to try:

1.Mechanical Turk

https://www.mturk.com/

Mechanical Turk is run by Amazon. Anyone can sign up and complete simple tasks — like choosing which of two pictures depicts a bridge — to earn a few cents per task. With some practice, you can earn a few dollars an hour while just sitting on your couch watching television. And with enough focus, you can earn an amount roughly equal to minimum wage.

2.Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing

https://kdp.amazon.com/

Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing allows anyone who has written a book on their own to upload it to Amazon to be sold on Amazon Kindle devices. Let's say you write a novel and want to sell it. If you upload it here and then promote it online through social media or blogs, you can sell copies of your book and earn as much as a 70 percent return on each sale.

3.YouTube

https://www.youtube.com/

YouTube allows anyone to post nonexplicit videos on pretty much any topic they desire. Recording a video can be as simple as turning on the camera on your computer and hitting the record button. If you enable advertisements on your videos, you can earn money at a rate of about $1 to $3 per 1,000 video views. The more videos you have, the more views you can accrue, so this option really pays off if you record a lot of videos and build a viewership.

4.Fotolia

https://us.fotolia.com/

Fotolia allows you to sell photos you've taken for stock photography usage. For example, if a publisher is looking for a picture of a beach and you uploaded such a picture, the publisher can use Fotolia to purchase the rights to use that picture in its publication and you receive a cut of that money. For a photography hobbyist, this is a great way to earn a few dollars for some of your best photos.

5. Fiverr

https://www.fiverr.com

Fiverr is a website where you can make $5 doing almost anything. On the site, people upload jobs that they're willing to do for $5, like writing Facebook posts for companies. Many of the jobs require creative skills such as graphic design or audio editing, but tasks are things you can easily do on the couch in your spare time.

6. Zirtual

https://www.zirtual.com/

Zirtual is perhaps the most time-consuming, but most rewarding, option. With Zirtual, you sign up to be a Zirtual Assistant to a busy person. The person will send you things to do such as write emails, research a topic and summarize the findings, or personal tasks such as order flowers, manage a personal calendar, or write handwritten notes. The starting base pay is $11 an hour, and Zirtual Assistants work weekdays full time.

All of these websites offer great opportunities for anyone to earn some extra money online. It all depends on what you want to bring to the table in terms of time, money, and effort.
